Therapy & Coaching in Office or Online
As a systems-oriented psychotherapist and coach, my goal is to help you find your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying systems therapy approaches and techniques, together we will identify long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life or career.

If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life or career, I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your goals.

Please call or email me to schedule an individual or couples session, either in person or online. Many of my clients (particularly those who travel!) enjoy the flexibility of online distance sessions. Conducting a session using your computer or smartphone allows us to see and hear each other in a secure, encrypted environment.

Bio
I work with you in a highly collaborative way to address the issues important to you. We do this by exploring your concerns and working together to develop a plan to achieve the success you desire. Although I am professionally trained as a marriage and family systemic therapist, I am neither for nor against marriage. In fact, I believe all sorts of relationships bring people fulfillment and a sense of well-being. My fundamental orientation is systemic. Psychological problems that afflict people are oftentimes related to the context of their lives and the quality of their interpersonal relationships.

I work with a variety of adult individuals and couples (no children under 18). I have particular expertise dealing with career issues, relationships, alternative lifestyle issues, anger, and substance abuse. As a Certified Coach and Licensed Therapist, I frequently work with people dealing with major life transitions. My training Includes the following extra certifications and areas of specialization: Certified Coach, Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP) Domestic Violence Facilitator, and U.S. Dept of Transportation Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).

My entire career, first in business (27 years in high tech) and then in psychotherapy and related research, has been dedicated to how individuals and groups organize and work cooperatively to achieve worthy and positive goals. I am passionate about this work and have ample life experience that many clients have found to be beneficial.
