Supporting Bright Futures
Personalized Care for Adults
I offer expert services in the areas of eating disorders (and all related concerns) and adoption. I have been in private practice since 2002, serving North Orange county, as well as the surrounding communities.

My approach to health and healing is strengths based, and I believe strongly in the power of the therapeutic relationship.

he Daring Way™ is a unique experiential program based on the exciting work of Dr. Brené Brown. This program teaches its participants how to live and love more fully within their own lives. It guides individuals towards connection through courage and compassion.

The Daring Way™ can help you:

Break free from old habits and patterns, while living your life more authentically,

Deepen your relationships and your ability to form connections with others,

Let go of perfectionism and the fear of what others think,

Develop self worth and self compassion as a way to grow, transform and achieve your goals,

Find peace in your life through gratitude, joy, stillness and creativity,

Learn to embrace "your story" as uniquely yours and a source of strength,

Understand that you are enough.
Education/Training
I have a master's degree in social work and a clinical license. I am certified as an Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorders. I have also had the opportunity to train with Dr . Brené Brown and her team in The Daring Way™ program. I am a Certified Daring Way Facilitator (CDWF) and am proud to offer this workshop through my office.

I am also certified in clinical hypnosis and utilize that approach with individuals in a number of different ways.
Bio
I have been a licensed clinical social worker since 1997. I have worked in a number of settings over the years, including schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics and non-profit organizations. I found my home and my love in private practice, however. Each day that I go to work, I am grateful for the opportunity. I am privileged to work with those that choose to take me on their journey.

As an adult adoptee, I am able to blend personal experience with professional awareness and offer that combination to all adult members of the adoption triad. I particularly enjoy working with other adult adoptees in the areas of search, reunion and identity.
Memberships
I am a current member of the National Association of Social Workers. I am also a current member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals and I am Immediate Past President of the Orange County Chapter. I am serving on their National Chapter Advisory Committee at this time.
