Bio
Although Lexi works with those navigating anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, and life transitions, her work at Repose focuses on her expertise and special commitment to women and their partners facing reproductive and maternal mental health challenges. Lexi received her graduate degree from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work with internship experience in inpatient psychiatry and in-home support of first-time mothers. Lexi conducted an independent study on the unique impact of surrogacy on the mind and body of intended parents and has completed Seleni’s Maternal Mental Health Intensive, focusing on perinatal grief and loss and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Lexi’s approach is integrative, strengths-based, and crafted to meet her client’s needs, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and the mind-body connection among other therapeutic techniques. As a client of Lexi’s, together you will uncover and gently separate from what is not working for you right now. In parallel, you will practice new tools to improve how you cope, striving towards balance and the change you seek.
Ultimately, Lexi will guide you towards your unique inner strengths to traverse obstacles, present and past, that get in the way of your hopes, peace, and contentment. She is deeply committed to embracing the trust you place in her with compassion and dedication.
