Hi, I'm Patricia Saenz. I'm the owner and speech language pathologist at The Heart of Therapy PLLC. I make receiving speech services convenient by coming to you. I provide services to the pediatric population and truly enjoy working with them and their families. It is very important to me to build strong connections with each and every one of my patients. I provide exceptional care and encouragement to ensure all patients feel loved and valued. Every child is unique and presents different strengths and challenges. I work to find an approach that works best for each individual as one is not suitable for all.
Education/Training
I studied communication disorders at Our Lady of the Lake University and received my Master's Degree in 2017. After my clinical fellowship year, I received my Certificate of Clinical Competency. I have since practiced in a variety of settings to include schools, clinics, and home health. My experiences have been strongly centered around the pediatric population. I am always looking into new opportunities for continuing education in a variety of speech-related areas.
Bio
I love having my own private practice and helping children and families across the city, but my first and most important position is a mom. I am a mom to a 14-year-old son, and he is the love of my life. He is very active, social, caring, and quite the character. We enjoy simple but fun activities such as drawing, hiking, watching movies, bowling, and playing games. A little more about me, I am a huge animal lover of all kinds. I hope to have a farm one day just so I can take in lots of rescues and have a few horses. I’m also a bit silly which is the reason the kiddos gravitate toward me. Overall, I love my family, respect those around me, and appreciate the little things in life.
