Whole Life Music Therapy is a premier provider of music therapy services helping clients in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. WLMT servies all clients with a specialization in geriatrics and hospice. We design and provide music interventions to promote life skills and improve quality of life. Our sessions are conducted at your facility or home.
As our name implies, we believe that music can be used throughout a whole life to create a whole life.

Music therapy uses music as a tool to help clients achieve non-musical goals. Board-certified music therapists (MT-BC) are trained to help clients live life to their fullest potential and work together to improve cognitive, physical, emotional, social, communicative and spiritual health.

Bio
Rebecca Lewis is a Board Certified Music Therapist and owner of Whole Life Music Therapy. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Wittenberg University and a Masters of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. Rebecca worked as a college instructor at University of Wisconsin/GreenBay before returning to Pittsburgh to open her piano studio. After raising her two children, Rebecca returned to school as a post-bachalaureate student and earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, PA. Her clinical experiences in the PIttsburgh area included UPMC's Children's Hospital and Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic; Family Hospice and Pallliative Care, Mount Lebanon, PA; Masonic VIllage of Sewickley, PA; and private work with children on the autism spectrum and young adults with Down's Syndrome. Rebecca is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music and a member of the American Music Therapy Assocation. Current and past clients include the Masonic VIllage of Sewickley, Milestone Centers, Inc. and clients with Multiple Sclerosis.
