Private psychotherapy practice with expertise in the assessment and treatment of PTSD, Complex PTSD and Combat-related PTSD. Experienced with first responders and warriors and their family members as well as civilians. Practice modalities used are EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Thought Field Therapy, trauma-sensitive yoga and mindfulness meditation. Emphasis is on resolving trauma symptoms and enhancing resilience. Focus is on event-based traumas as well as developmental traumas - those occurring in childhood including physical, sexual and emotional abuse.

Eva Usadi specializes in the assessment and treatment of Complex Post Traumatic Stress and Combat Stress. In her private psychotherapy practice in Manhattan she treats New York City firefighters, police officers, active duty military and veterans, as well as civilians. She holds a Certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies from the Trauma Center in Boston, Mass, is Certified in EMDR and EAGALA-model Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, and has been a practitioner of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for 10 years. In 2007-2008 Ms. Usadi spent 7 months treating traumatized soldiers and their families at Ft. Drum, home of the 10th Mountain Division of the Army. Ms. Usadi is the Founder and Director of Trauma and Resiliency Resources, Inc. as well as the Clinical Director of TRR's Trademarked program, Warrior Camp®. She is an approved provider for Military OneSource and Tricare and a Military Family Life Consultant. She is a contract therapist with the FDNY, an approved provider for POPPA (Police Officers Providing Peer Assistance) and a frequent conference presenter.
