I'ao Acupuncture & Spa is the name of my Acupuncture & Oriental medicine practice on Maui, Hawaii. "I' ao" is an acronym for "Integrating Acupuncture & Others". It is a wellness center providing the medical treasures of Acupuncture & Oriental medicine as well as working with other forms of medicinal practices or therapies geared to service the community as well as travelers alike in addressing all their healthcare needs.
Traditional Japanese acupuncture is my choice of needling technique, which is a more gentler needling style and precise stimulation of point location. The use of "yaito" or moxibustion is a very regular and standard protocol also implemented in treatments, according to the correct conditions.
In addition to acupuncture & Oriental medicine, my wellness center also offers the therapies of a high quality far infrared sauna heat therapy, whole body vibrational therapy, traditional Thai massage or warm Jade stone massage therapy. All aide in the detox, rejuvenation and restoration of the mind, body and spirit.
