OUR STORY: Founded in 2013 by Julie Meyer, M.S. CCC-SLP, Listen Hear Speech and Hearing is a private practice specializing in services for children with deafness or hearing loss, and children with language and/or speech sound disorders. Listen Hear works on listening, language, & speech sound development, as well as empowers parents and educators to support & encourage listening & communication development in the classroom & home. OUR MISSION: To provide quality services to children & their families in a fun, positive & nurturing environment; promote use of best practices & effective strategies in the classroom and home; utilize evidence-based intervention; educate & support family members, teachers, & other professionals. OUR SERVICES: I provide individual & group therapy sessions for listening and spoken language, speech, language comprehension/processing, & fluency development to children with hearing loss & children with speech sound, language, and/or fluency disorders, in Fredericksburg, VA, & to the surrounding areas, as well as collaboration/ongoing training with parents & professionals.
