I have been in private practice for 30 years. I work mostly with individuals and couples. Most of my clients come for relationship /communication issues- with spouses, partners, kids, and co-workers. I primarily problem-solve, use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, help with goal-setting, and coping tools and techniques. I am action-oriented, and provide lots of ideas and assistance in solving problems and difficulties. I don't just sit and listen. i provide feedback and make suggestions of specific behaviors to use between sessions. Some areas that I cover are ,anxiety, depression, life transitions ,disordered eating, stress, grief and loss.
