I provide Individual Therapy (including Play Therapy) for all ages.
I work with clients who have an array of concerns including but not limited to, Trauma & PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Difficulties Adjusting to Change/Life Transitions, and individuals coping with Grief & Loss.
I provide a safe and supportive therapeutic space for all of my clients. I am here to actively listen, provide support in a non-judgmental space, and offer you a safe environment to explore past and present life experiences.
I am a Rostered Psychotherapist providing an integrative approach to understanding and treating the full range of mental-health challenges that encompasses the following theoretical orientations/therapies: Humanistic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Non-directive Play Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
I believe that therapeutic play is a way of being with a child that honors their unique developmental stage and looks for ways of helping the child learn a language for what they are experiencing through their behavior. By establishing an interpersonal relationship with the child, I hope to understand their world and use play as a way of resolving psychosocial difficulties and allow for growth and development.
I collaborate with my clients to create treatment goals, evaluate progress and decide frequency and length of treatment.
