My favorite author once wrote, “It is the peculiar nature of the world to go on spinning no matter what sort of heartbreak is happening,” which inevitably means that there are times in everyone’s life when living becomes too heavy, complicated, confusing, painful and/or difficult to manage. I, personally, know that feeling all too well. But what if you could learn to honor and express your heartbreak, your pain and your struggle without suffering through it or allowing it to control you? What if you could learn to manage the stress of tomorrow by choosing to live mindfully today?
Pain is inevitable and often uncontrollable, as we are all intensely experiencing now in the midst of COVID-19. I know it can feel unfair and overwhelming, but, while pain may be unavoidable, suffering is a choice based on how we process, cope, and react to challenges that life throws our way. Each of us has the power to choose differently and to create positive change. With the right guidance and support, you can learn to free your mind, and, in doing so, free your life.
Passionate about fusing traditional psychotherapy with an integrative and holistic approach, I offer an opportunity to connect mind and body. I specialize in working with diverse individuals and families, especially teens and young adults who are experiencing anxiety and stress, relationship challenges, life transitions low self-esteem and depression.
