I am a professional Licensed and Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work. I also hold certification in Clinical Hypnosis. I have specialized training in Solution-Oriented Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been providing clinical services since 1977. My primary focus is working with adults and older adults. I work with clients to find solutions to their concerns. Sometimes solutions are making changes and at other times, it may mean understanding yourself or accepting your life situation. Therapy is a collaborative process focused on reaching your goals and purpose. I have been married since 1978 to my wife, Nancy, who is a Special Educator and a Vision Therapist. We have two adult children, Michelle, who is married and has two children and works as a pediatric Occupational Therapist, and Daniel who is married and is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private group practice at Brightland Health in Chicago.
