The Cox family began practicing dentistry on Main Street, Newark in 1942 when Dr. Clyde Cox opened his office in it’s original location of the historic Green Mansion. His practice then expanded with the addition of his son, Dr. Thomas Cox, in 1975. Dr. Clyde retired in 1980 and Dr. Thomas Cox continued his solo practice until 2006 with the arrival of his daughter, Dr. Erin Cox. The practice was renamed Main Street Dental and in 2017 relocated to The Stone House on Center Street.
