In my personal and professional experience we seek therapy when we realize that the coping mechanisms that we have employed for most of our lives are not only not working anymore, but that they are preventing us from experiencing the lives that we would like to be living. When this happens we experience anxiety, depression and a general feeling of dissatisfaction with life.
Entering therapy is a courageous step prompted by our inner warrior. It requires energy and commitment so that we can continue when the process becomes challenging.
