Relationships are the cornerstone of a happy and successful life. Depression, anxiety, and anger can disrupt your ability to form and sustain healthy relationships with others and with yourself.
The ways you choose to cope with and react to your strong and stressful emotions affect your sense of well-being and self-esteem, which naturally affect your ability to feel effective in your work and social life.
I provide a supportive therapeutic environment in which you can explore your own ability to relate to others and to gain a greater understanding of yourself. I work well with older adolescents, young adults and couples who struggle with identity, family, communication problems, and coping abilities. Often, we will explore substance use, sexuality, and verbal/physical aggression. Together, we will explore the foundations for these behaviors and work to create the positive change you desire.
I do my best to create a safe space that allows for the development of trust and confidence in the therapeutic relationship. My client's comfort is of utmost importance; I want you to feel supported as we begin to explore your inner world and the world of your relationships.
