SEVA [say-va] is a sanskrit term that means, “string”, in English. It implies a greater connection between all things, where to serve one is to serve the whole. It is about offering ones gifts and talents to the community whenever there is need. SEVA comes from a place of love, compassion, and respect. SEVA reflects my approach as a massage therapist in that I strive to help my clients attain physical and mental balance by eliciting their awareness of the mind-body-spirit connection through the power of healing touch. I believe that if we can achieve peace within the individual, both physically and emotionally, then we are one step closer to co-existing in universal harmony.
