I enjoy helping people improve the quality of their life whether it is a relationship or other stressor that causes pain and anxiety. I trust that when people are connected to their own feelings, needs, and heart, the problems they face are manageable and less intrusive. Solutions become possible and creative. I assist individuals and groups in improving communication skills based on a model of non-violent communication developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg.
My speciality is in couple counseling, divorce, relationship issues, communication skill development, anger management, parenting, life adjustments, work stress, bereavement including the loss of a child, childhood trauma recovery, depression, anxiety and panic disorder, PTSD, codependency, mediation, meditation, mind/body connection, women's issues and spirituality.
Since I am trained in heart centered meditation, I can assist people who seek to recover from long standing issues more so than regular talk therapy. I apply Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to evaluate old long standing beliefs to bring it to present time circumstances.
