YogaFlow is an eclectic vinyasa hatha style inspired by the teachings of Krishnamacharya who revolutionized hatha yoga as we know it today. Vinyasa means to synchronize the breath with mindful movement of the body, creating yoga flow sequences making the practice a meditative dance.
Safety first is our motto so alignment and proper position is key to learning the yoga asanas or postures. As the saying goes, good training lasts a lifetime and bad training takes a lifetime to correct!
The YogaFlow style was created by working with a strong foundation in alignment, breath centered practices and therapeutic applications. By incorporating all three of these aspects we in turn create safe exercises where everyone will walk away receiving exactly what they need.
Besides group classes Gail offers private therapeutic sessions designed around the students personal needs. Depression, Anxiety, Sport Injuries specializing in post knee surgery recovery, Cerebral Palsy,and spinal Injuries are just a few of the many conditions Gail has experience working with.
