All of us hit roadblocks in our lives. Often the chaos of life presents a situation or event that causes stress and anxiety. You may not know how to think about the problem let alone what to do about it. In addition, feeling unhappy, unfulfilled, or unmotivated, does not require an event to provoke pain. I'm talking about a need to be heard, listened to, …… understood. If you’re depressed or anxious, always angry or simply feeling unmotivated, we can work toward putting that puzzle inside you together. What we are seeking is change. Something that we can measure that helps you make more effective choices, or reduces your stress, or alters patterns in your behavior that have gotten in your way or simply helps you understand yourself and your life in a less complicated way. In addition to indvidual therapy, I work with many couples who have hit crossroads in their relationships and we try to find that common demominator of communication, that point where each partner will choose to listen to the other. Not an easy task, I relish the struggle and invite couples willing to take the leap.
