Exceptional Learning Solutions, a private practice in educational therapy established in 2011 by Sherry Cramer, is located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on the southwest side of the city in Covington Creek Professional Village. Sherry was drawn to educational therapy because of its empathetic, flexible and comprehensive approach to working with clients. Developing a supportive relationship with students is central to the practice of educational therapy. Because educational therapists do not rely on a single methodology, Sherry is free to select instructional techniques based on the needs of the client. Recognizing the multidimensional nature of educational problems, Sherry provides tutoring and direct services related to processing difficulties, basic skill development (reading, writing, math), academic classes, study and organizational strategies, executive skills (self-regulation, planning,etc.) and school-related social/emotional issues. Sherry also assists families with school concerns and locating additional resources.
