FAMILY COACHING! Is your teen getting the best of you? Is your teen making you question your sanity? Is your teen making you question your parenting ability? Through the use of humor, flexibility, creativity, firmness and fairness I have developed a unique ability to connect with even the most therapy resistant kids. I will help them through their struggles in a trusting atmosphere.
In the course of therapy we will work on: Impulse control, frustration tolerance, anger management, organizational skills, social skills, self discipline, empathy, substance abuse (If applicable), healthy expression of feelings and anything else that comes up. We will also have family sessions to make sure that we are on track.
I write for Parent magazine and I have worked in a special education setting for over 18 years. I can help with learning disabilities, ADHD and emotional problems that inhibit learning. I can also help with funding. I do house calls for an extra fee.
