Slava is a renowned bodyworker and massage therapist who hails from Siberia, Russia. With over fifteen years of experience in Thai Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy, Slava has dedicated his life to the art of bodywork. His journey began at the International Proferssional School of Bodywork in San Diego in 2003. He specialized in Neuromuscular Therapy and Thai Massage. He worked in many settings: hospitals, spas, acupuncture and chiropractic offices. After a couple of years of work experience, Slava spent a year in Thailand attending leading Thai medical institutes in Chiang Mai in 2006. After returning from Thailand, Slava went on to establish his own highly successful massage business in Boston - East West Massage. It operated for eleven years in Boston from 2007 to 2018, with two locations, and twenty five massage therapists. However, Slava wanted to return to beautiful San Diego and sold his business in 2018. Slava teaches nationally and at ICOHS, International College of Holistic Studies in San Diego. He is the author of "Thai Massage with Neuromuscular Techniques" available on Amazon and other retailers. He sees 25-30 clients a week in San Diego and works with many professional athletes, dancers, and people with specific conditions and injuries. Additionally, Slava is a Structural Yoga Therapist, a Functional Medicine health coach, and a running coach.
