I am a licensed psychologist in the states of CA (PSY21080) and NY (015730).
Since September of 1990, I have been working with children, adolecsents adults and families from varied ethnic groups and with a broad range of problems. I specialize in the areas of trauma, affect regulation (reducing stress, anxiety and depression) and strenghtening relationships. I also specialize in working with reconstituted families (stepfamilies).
I often run psycho-educational groups on stress reduction, parenting issues, and on strengthening relationships. From 1990 - 2002 I primarily worked in schools and in mental health clinics. In the fall of 2003 I opened a private practice and also began supervising interns. I also serve as a consultant to clerical leaders, school adminstrators, teachers and mental health professionals.
