Beth is a long time Buddhist practitioner, and brings a mindfulness and spiritual approach to her work with clients. She is a certified mindfulness meditation instructor, and writes articles about psychotherapy, mindfulness, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety and Buddhist psychology.

Beth is fully trained in EMDR, and has received advance training in EMDR and mindfulness. She has found that both mindfulness and EMDR have made a profound and lasting difference in the lives of her clients.

Bio
Beth Patterson, MA, LPC is a licensed psychotherapist and grief counselor in Denver and via Skype. Beth specializes in grief, loss and life transitions, as well as trauma, depression and anxiety. She has received advanced training in EMDR, a highly effective and proven modality for working with trauma. She is a graduate of the Transpersonal Counseling Psychology masters program at Naropa University.

In addition to her private psychotherapy practice, Beth is the Life Care Coordinator and Bereavement Coordinator at SolAmor Hospice in Denver. Beth is also a certified mindfulness meditation instructor and teaches courses on Tibetan Buddhism in Denver. Beth writes extensively about grief and loss and about spirituality on her blog:
