Bio
Originally from Missouri, I have clinical experience practicing under supervisors in multiple states and worked with a diverse range of clients. I believe therapy can be a place for anyone to grow and am passionate about helping others. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults and assisting in the areas of ADHD and anxiety. I also have a specific focus on women's mental health. As a military spouse, I am well-versed on military family issues. I utilize the tenets of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), conducts person-centered sessions and am a trauma-informed therapist who values deepening my knowledge of the counseling practice. Outside of therapy, I enjoy going to the beach, reading, and spending time with family and my dogs: Kona and Nike.
