How to Feel Better
Time To talk About You
Suffering is never easy which makes it a difficult thing to get past.Suffering is an often painful experience that makes it hard to feel, hard to think about and therefore, hard to understand. Carving out some space to explore it with a professional, is part of what therapy offers.
The most important things in life include what makes us suffer and how to suffer less.
The things that cause people distress and pain are often less than easy to talk about. There are many reasons for this but one reason is that it doesn't feel good. No one wants to feel bad or uncomfortable. It's just not how we humans are wired. But, there are many things in life that we do even when they feel unpleasant. It might work for awhile to keep suffering under wraps, hoping it will pass, like a bad winter. We all try to figure things out independently. We have to. It's natural.
At the end of our trying alone we go back to therapy. We know from experience that talking to someone who really listens and cares about what cause someone pain and distress, that it helps to be heard and understood.
If you are interested in finding a space and time for you to begin exploring what is going on in your emotional life, give me a call.
