Christian Life Counseling is a team of Christian Counselors dedicated to maximizing the spiritual, emotional and physical well being of our clients though the power of Jesus Christ, the Ultimate Healer.
CLC is a growing group practice in which serves individuals, families and marriages facing various emotional, relational and spiritual issues. Therapy is done from a Biblical perspective and foundation.
Our team addresses a wide array of issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, grief-loss and transition, unresolved traumas, unhealthy habits, anger and stress management, ADHD, spiritual matters, marriage and other relationship challenges. We serve children, adolescents, adults, marriages and families. We also work closely with medical providers, churches, agencies, and schools to further assist our clients with their lives. We offer payments plans for those who qualify, an in-house billing service for their convenience and a wonderful support staff.

Bio
Carlos R. Calderon, MA LPC-S, CART, CGT is a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, Certified Grief Therapist and Program Director of CLC. He is a graduate of Houston Baptist University with a Masters in Psychology and is affiliated with AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors). He has extensive experience in agency settings working with children and families and in private settings working with adults and marriages. Carlos enjoys working with these populations around issues of depression, abuse, trauma, grief, women’s issues and unhealthy habits. He believes in extending Christ’s grace and compassion to others and creating a safe atmosphere in order for God’s healing to take place in people’s lives. Carlos has been happily married for 16 years, has a 7 wonderful children. He has a heart for his family, adoption, the 'fatherless and hurting'. He enjoys family, friends, church, vacations, exercise and cars.
Carlos is a compassionate yet direct and challenging therapist who believes in extending Christ's grace and love in order for healing to occur. He utilizes cognitve-behavioral techniques from a Biblical and psychodynamic perspective. Carlos believes clients are responsible for their choices, behaviors and feelings and will challenge them to make positive choices in order to achieve their full potential in Christ and make a positive impact on their family, churches and world.
Carlos is the Program Director of Christian Life Counseling (CLC). CLC is a growing group practice in The Woodlands, TX serving individuals, families and marriages facing various emotional, relational and spiritual issues. Therapy is done from a Biblical perspective and foundation.
