Psychotherapy and Healing
Healing from a psychological problem may be the most difficult thing you do in your life. Like any physical illness, mental health issues can interrupt your entire existence; relationships, careers, education, and self esteem suffer.
I am a practicing psychotherapist with a Masters degree from New York University. For the past fifteen years I have helped both adolescents and adults with a range of psychological problems. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, depression, and other mental health issues. My approach is eclectic, drawing from various proven theoretical approaches including psychodynamics, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and relational psychotherapy. I believe that the relationship between the therapist and client is critical in moving through the healing process towards recovery and therefore make this a priority.
I work with clients, their families, in addition to doctors, nutritionists, and other heath professionals to offer comprehensive care and lasting solutions. I also provide services to the friends and family members of people who suffer from psychological problems.
My practice is conveniently located in Greenwich Village in Manhattan. I am currently accepting new clients.
