I offer counseling services for couples/marriages as well as adolescents and families. .My treatment builds upon each person's strengths and coping skills. The first 3 sessions are dedicated to establishing a relationship with you, gathering a history of your concerns and understanding your goals for coming to counseling.
In today's society, families are presented with many challenges and with less time to assimilate thoughts and feelings on important issues. Living within a digital age, information is accessible at a younger age and at a faster pace.
I offer a setting that provides formative information (anger management, sexual development, parenting, communication skills, child discipline, adolescent mood and behaviors, blended families, divorce) as well as opportunities for you to explore your thoughts and your feelings. You will receive a sense of direction based on my clinical expertise. My counseling approach is values based. I offer Christian counseling.
I believe a painful situation is a sign that an issue needs to be addressed and can be a turning point for growth when there is a positive support system. I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation.
