We specialize in the treatment of trauma and treat mental health problems including mood and psychotic disorders, anxiety and phobias, ADHD and learning disorders, explosive anger, mental disorders caused or exacerbated by traumatic experiences, personality disorders, and problems with addiction. We treat "every-day" problems including anger, sadness, low self-esteem, relationship problems, behavior problems, and problems related to family, school, and work. We work toward reducing the effects of physical and medical disorders, including acute, chronic, and terminal illness. WeI provide cutting edge and traditional therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered and Existential therapies, and relational, family, marital, and attachment-focused therapy. We provide Critical Incident Stress Management services for individuals and groups who have experienced traumatic incidents (including natural disasters, terrorist attacks, fires, accidents, suicide, and homicide). We provide psychological testing, specializing in making difficult differential diagnoses in children and adults. Dr. Bedsole is an EMDRIA Certified/Approved Consultant in EMDR and provides EMDR consultation to therapists and supervision to psychologists-in-training.
