Bio
With many years of education and valuable experience under her belt, Dr. Amato has treated many conditions ranging from acute and chronic pain; sports related overuse injuries, headaches, low back pain, and neck pain as well as herniated discs. Aside from being a licensed chiropractor, Dr. Amato is Board Certified in Sports Chiropractic through the American Chiropractic Association and is certified in Active Release Technique.
A cum laude graduate of Life Chiropractic College West, in San Francisco, Dr. Amato is knowledgeable in various forms of holistic healthcare. She has even traveled to El Salvador twice in a humanities effort to provide chiropractic care to others.
Dr. Amato has spent her whole life involved in various sports as an athlete and coach, mainly gymnastics, cheerleading, softball, and volleyball. This developed into a career working with athletes toward reaching their peak performance abilities. Aside from in office treatment, Dr. Amato works on athletes before and after tournaments and events on site. In July 2009, she had the opportunity to provide chiropractic care to professional volleyball players on the AVP tour.
Dr. Amato's goal is to help others restore and uphold their wellness, and educate them on adopting a healthier well-being through regular spinal adjustments and exercise.
