Psychotherapy benefits are abundant when you share your experiences with a professional and experienced therapist. Trust, respect and open dialogue are the cornerstones of effective therapy. Psychotherapy benefits are abundant when you are safe to be yourself and then explore and discover the broader and deeper landscape of the issues that concern you. You will learn to identify, process and utilize the richness of your emotional experiences. By proposing different ways of thinking about your situation, offering questions that call your attention to the overlooked or utilizing your emotions to identify the bigger picture, you see opportunities to change. You may learn how to alter the dance in your relationship dynamics. I may provide you with questions that direct your attention, lessons in communication skills, or a language to articulate your core values. I may serve as a guide to develop more satisfying relationships or to provide effective parenting. I will help you identify innovative strategies that unlock and improve your personal, familial, social and professional relationships. Helping you identify your goals and then becoming more proactive in reaching them is a fundamental outcome of good therapy.
Clients appreciate that I am insatiably curious, active, and encouraging as they pursue their goals. My years in business and as a high school counselor assist me in understanding the many roles and circumstances we must navigate in today's culture. My practice has served teens, men, women, and couples in the Pleasanton Tri-Valley for over twenty years. My life has been enriched by knowing so many so well.
