Groovy Time Speech is a private practice providing speech and language services in person, within homes, daycares, and schools. In-person services are provided in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Groovy Time Speech also provides Teletherapy throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

We provide individual (one one one) services, consultations with parents and/or schools, administer evaluations, and run seasonal group sessions.

We are private pay only, but will provide a superbill upon request to send into your insurance company, for reimbursement.
Bio
After graduating with my teaching degree in elementary and special education, I worked in a private class dedicated to autistic children/children with autism. I had the opportunity to work with an amazing SLP and so my decision to go back to school was born.

I worked as middle and high school teacher, serving oppositional defiant, behavioral disorder, and emotionally disturbed students, as I obtained my masters. I have worked in the schools and with special needs populations since 2000.

My passion lies working with children of all ages. I have a fondness for children with disabilities; neurodivergent/autistic, down syndrome, intellectual disability, oppositional defiant.

I am an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist, licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2015 and have been practicing in the school setting (teletherapy included) and early intervention ever since. I have taken American Sign Language I and implement a multimodality form of communication. I believe in patient centered care. Every individual learns and makes progress in their own unique way, so I provide services to meet the needs of each individual child, treating the whole person. I work with parents and provide strategies to use at home and other environments to generalize skills across all areas. Often with younger children, a play-based approach is used, making a more natural connection. I have worked closely with occupational therapists and one day, I dream to have a sensory gym where speech services can be provided. In my spare time, you will find me with my son doing craft activities, reading, or outside taking a walk, at the park, or at the beach in the summer.
