Video counseling is available for residents of California (except for psychotherapy).
Real-life issues can crop up for those who have emigrated, immigrated, or re-entered the US (within in the last two generations). I have first-hand experience with all three situations and have worked successfully with diplomats, peace corps workers, missionaries and expatriates.
