Insights Counseling Group is a nonprofit organization established for psychological wellness around issues of grief and loss. Grief not only occurs after the death of a loved one, but throughout many transitions and losses in life. Insights Counseling offers interpersonal talk therapy along with art and other mediums to work through depression and anxiety. Insights Counseling is a nonprofit, so our fees are reasonable. We have a sliding scale and will work with you to get the help you deserve to feel well again and return to your productive lifestyle.

Bio
Sherry Douden is the Executive Director and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She started the nonprofit in 2004. "It has always been a passion of mine to reduce the stigma around mental illness. We need to take a more preventative approach in our use of psychology. Relationships are key to healing and to overall wellness. Together we will take a look at relationships and work toward healthy communication and acceptance of self and of loved ones." Sherry has done internships with A Renewed Hope, and with the Child Abuse Prevention Counsel, an agency to help children and parents through difficult issues and conflict. She is president of the Maternal Depression Taskforce, a grass roots effort to reduce the stigma around postpartum depression. Many interns and students work closely with local university professors and Sherry to provide cutting edge therapy at an affordable rate. Let us help you get back to yourself...
