Irit Goldman, Dr.
Are You Feeling Down and Can't Stop Crying? Is Your
Relationship Off Track? I Can Help You Live Better!
How I work:
First we will have an introductory conversation on the phone. I will gain preliminary understanding of the problem you need help with. If I will feel that I may not be the right fit, I will provide you with referrals for therapists who specialize in the issue you are seeking a solution for (i.e., pain management). We will also discuss fees. In our first session I will go over the inform consent and office policies with you and will collect data for the intake.
I will become very involved with you and we will work as a team. I will ask you what your goals are and after a couple of sessions, I will discuss the treatment plan with you. You will be in a very safe and supportive environment. I will learn to know who you are and what your personality is and I will adapt the therapeutic process to meet your individual needs.
We will discuss your progress as we go along and make changes if the need arises. We will also discuss those changes to ensure that we are on the right direction in your path for personal growth.

Bio
I started my career in 1974 working with special needs children and their families. Over the years I have had much success helping parents with the difficulties and challenges of parenting their child.
As time went by I decided to concentrate on working with other issues couples and families go through.
In 2002 I received my Masters degree in Marriage and Family therapy, and in 2004 I received my Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. I graduated both degrees with magna cum laude honor.
My passion is helping people resolve painful experiences and lead more fulfilling, healthy, happy lives.
I am very caring and compassionate. I do not judge people and understand that life circumstances may be difficult. I will be there to help you accomplish your goals in a safe and caring environment.
I offer a 15 minute free consultation on the phone in which we will discuss the problem you want to resolve and the various options.
