Help for Lives that Have Been Hit Hard
Clinical and Forensic Psychology
My practice exists to help individuals whose daily functioning has been impaired by the experience of very difficult situations. To aid them in finding resilience once thought lost forever in an effort to restore healthy daily living and use their newfound capabilities to enhance their futures. I strongly believe adversity leads to creativity. My goal is to help those who have lost meaning and purpose find the lives they truly desire.
Dr. Trujillo is pleased to expand her practice into a private office setting to augment an extensive background of working with individuals in forensic settings. Her career path began as a Probation Officer working with individuals struggling with addiction and sexual abuse. This experience led her to pursue and receive her Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She then
began her career as a Psychologist with the Florida Department of Corrections where she treated and worked with thousands of people in many settings, including outpatient community mental health centers, hospitals, family court and correctional facilities while obtaining her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology
from Argosy University in Tampa, Florida. As reflected by her specialty fields, Dr. Trujillo brings substantial training and research in the areas of sexual and substance abuse, trauma, domestic violence, crisis
intervention and related disorders to her private practice in Stamford, CT.
Dr. Trujillo is a licensed Psychologist in the
states of New York and Connecticut.
