Recently, I opened a private speech-language therapy practice after being at home raising my children. I provide speech therapy in an educational environment or in a child’s home. Prior to my hiatus, I worked in the public schools for 14 years. I find working with young children to be fulfilling and love working with that population again.

I am an energetic, creative, and patient individual. I have maintained my speech-language pathology credentials by attending conferences in person and on-line, as well as reading professional journals. I am a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Also, I am a member of a local speech and hearing discussion group that meets monthly to discuss timely topics related to the speech-language field. Furthermore, I have received several children’s yoga teaching certificates, including teaching yoga to children with special needs.
