Tired of knowing what the problem is, but not knowing how to solve it? I have helped many people recognize their true potential while helping them overcome their emotional difficulties. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, which has a strong basis in science with studies demonstrating effectiveness in depression, anxiety and other problems. With this technique, we change your thought processes in order to alter behaviors and feelings. I look forward to helping you explore practical methods to help you through difficult times, as well as for self improvement.
In addition, I help my clients understand how their past experiences are directly connected to some of their current emotional roadblocks. I use EMDR to address past and present trauma, phobias, anxiety and depression.
Couples Counseling - Many couples are inundated with work and child rearing responsibilities and, as a result, lose touch with each other. Utilizing techniques from Dr. John Gottman, and Dr. Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, I have helped many couples reconnect and reestablish their love relationship with a deeper understanding of one another.
