Couples and adult therapy
I am a full time Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and care deeply about marriages, families, and personal growth. In 49 years of being married and raising three children I know that life is challenging. As a Christian therapist it is my desire to help you individually, as a couple, or as a family to find and enjoy the kinds of relationships God has intended for you. I can effectively help and support you in your relationship difficulties and move toward change. I also have the skills to address personal issues that may be having a negative impact on your relationships; things like depression, anxiety, anger, and addictive behaviors. I would be honored to be a part of your journey.

Bio
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC49499). I believe that being a therapist is my calling and I practice full-time; this is not a part-time second or third job for me. I earned a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology: Marriage & Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa CA and hold an undergraduate degree in Christian Ministries from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN. I have worked with clients facing a variety of issues and strive to consistently provide compassionate care in a non-judgmental environment.
With over 49 years of personal background as a husband of one and father of three, I bring a depth of life experience and understanding to my work with individuals, couples, and families. I am committed to providing a safe and hope-filled space for you to explore your experiences and progress toward healing and transformation from the inside out.
I have been in licensed private practice since 2011. I currently also facilitate intensive marriage retreats through The Ravines Retreat Center in Lowell Indiana. My Professional experience includes work at the Center for Individual & Family Therapy since 2005 both as a practicum student, trainee, and as a registered MFT Intern. I have received excellent training at the Center covering a wide variety of topics. I have also spent a year working with children as an Elementary School Counselor. I have also worked professionally with high-functioning adult clients with developmental disabilities. I enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds and ethnicities from mid-adolescence up.
