Lisa M. Kelsey, MFT
Therapy means many different things to different people. For some it is a journey of growth, self-awareness, and healing. For others it is necessary for them to survive. For some it is something they are mandated to do, and for many it is something they really want to do. No matter where you fall on this spectrum, I am here to support you through your process. Therapy is about where you are, where you want to go, what you want to explore, and joining you on your experience. I am here to guide you, focus you, support you and push you when needed.
Education/Training
I received my Master's degree from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California and have completed training with children, adults, couples, groups and families. My experience includes: drug and alcohol treatment for adolescents and adults, physical abuse issues, relationship dynamics with family, couples dynamics, and supervised/therapeutic visits for separated families.
Bio
I am a licensed Martial Family Therapist practicing in Burlingame, CA since September 2011. I bring my clinical and educational experience to my practice as well as my corporate experience. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate education I have worked for a publicly held Fortune 500 Biotech company. My 14 years of organizational corporate experience allows me to know first hand the demands of work/life balance, and the struggles of managing and leading teams.
