Licensed Psychotherapist
I assist clients in making positive changes and improving their lives by helping to overcome mental/emotional obstacles which prevent them from living their desired life. Perhaps you are feeling stuck on a particular issue, experiencing stress in your days, going through a difficult transition, have conflict in your relationships, or are not feeling passionate about your career. There may be moments where you are thinking your goals and dreams seem out of reach, or are just going through days not feeling as passionate about life as can be. Active engagement in psychotherapy may be useful to clarify your needs, identify your goals, manage your stress, increase your coping skills, improve your relationships, and/or foster more functional daily habits. With guidance, we will address the roadblocks and make strides towards greater overall life satisfaction. The psychotherapy process will support you in becoming your best self and enhance facets of your life, consequently providing greater life satisfaction and happiness.

Bringing my real self into session, a positive therapeutic rapport is easily established, which is the foundation for successful psychotherapy and a pathway to personal evolution. I am invested in the collaborative process, have a style that is empathetic and nonjudgmental, and approach the innate love for my profession, your sessions, with a spirit of service.

I have an MA graduate degree in Clinical Health Psychology from Yeshiva University Albert Einstein College of Medicine, as well as an MSW degree from Hunter College School of Social Work. I have been trained as a Certified Clinical Trauma Therapist and received CCTS-I certification by the Trauma Institute International. I remain an active learner and participate in ongoing trainings on mental health issues and therapeutic strategies. With years of experience I have found that the growth exhibited by clients collaborating in Brief Strategic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and/or Mindfulness has been effective in assisting them to reach their stated therapeutic goals.
