Bio
Martin Silber has more than 30 years of clinical experience with multiple healing modalities such as Amma Therapy, Bioenergy Therapy, Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release Technique, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Clinical Hypnosis, and Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
He has been a Board Certified Diplomat with the National Council for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) since 1995 when he received his NYS acupuncture license.
In 1997 he received his National Acupuncture and Detoxification Association (NADA) certification as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) and his Registered Trainer (RT) status in 1999.
Martin is responsible for creating the original Long Island chapters for the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY) in 1997,1999 and 2007.
For the last 15 years, he has been the head acupuncture supervisor for Nassau County’s Department of Drug and Alcohol Detoxification program (NCDDA).
In 2000 he created and supervised the first acupuncture detoxification program for Catholic Charities in Commack, New York.
Since 2009, Martin has been an instructor and clinic supervisor at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, New York.
In 2009 he became a Clean Needle Technique training instructor and examiner for the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM).
He has been an instructor and clinic supervisor at the Eastern School of Acupuncture in Montclair, New Jersey and The New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, New York for more than 12 years.
