Bio
Melissa Lewi, MS Ed., CCC-SLP is the Director, of Metrowest Speech Language Center. Metrowest Speech Language Center has been in business since 2010 and Melissa has 25 years of experience working within the pediatric population. She has served students with a variety of diagnosis including: autism/PDD, ADHD, behavior disorders, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, down syndrome, emotional disorders, intellectual impairment, learning disabilities, non-verbal learning disabilities, medically fragile, neurological deficits, oral-motor and feeding disorders, sensory integration issues, speech & language deficits/delays, and traumatic brain injury.

In addition, she has practiced in a variety of settings. Clinics, collaborative programs, daycare centers, home based programs, early intervention, hospitals, public and private schools as well as a pediatric residential facility.

Experiences have included Lead Teacher in a Language Based Program, developing AAC communication (low tech, high tech, sign language), identifying relevant Assistive Technology to meet client needs, modifying curriculum, developing behavior plans/visual support systems, creating social stories to facilitate communication skills, social pragmatic skills and functional routines.

Melissa believes in identifying student strengths and building on those strengths through a holistic approach. Assessments and treatments are individualized to best identify and meet client needs.
