I guide women to take their seat in the center of the wheel of their lives. When you stop spinning out in the chaotic periphery and spend more time connecting to the still point that resides deep within, you are better able to take care of yourself in the ways that really matter -- from the inside out.
Heart of Self-Care offers integrative bodywork, energy healing and spiritual guidance that aligns you with the quiet core that leads to heart-centered self-care. Since 1986 I have been helping people to feel better in body, mind and spirit, recognizing that any point of entry affects the whole. Whether working to address muscle aches and pains, stress related tension, communication difficulties or emotional/spiritual issues, the goal is always to release the constrictions that hold you back from feeling at ease within yourself.
Through Heart of Self-Care, I offer one-on-one coaching programs, online and in-person meditation classes, energy healing sessions and more so you can finally make the shifts that bring peace and true satisfaction into your life and your relationships -- most importantly, the one with yourself. From there, the rest ripples out to touch and improve all of your relationships. Offering sessions by phone, Skype or in person.

Bio
I received my BA in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University in 1981, with an emphasis in social sciences. In 1986, I consciously stepped onto a path of spiritual discovery and took my first bodywork training in Shiatsu “just because it interests me.” Little did I know that it would change the course of my life by bringing me to a new career path and a total change of lifestyle!
After graduating from the New Jersey School of Massage in 1987 with certification in Shiatsu, I studied Swedish massage and developed a private practice in massage therapy.
I became a Reiki Master/Teacher in 1998 and went on to study Integrated Kabbalistic Healing® with Jason Shulman through his three year intensive program at A Society of Souls.
In 2011, I became a Certified Wellness Coach and Life Coach; these trainings became the basis for bringing all of what I know into a holistic approach that could serve people wherever they are -- geographically as well as emotionally.
My practice focuses on the qualities of simplicity, balance, compassion and humor, and I take great joy in helping others learn to live more lightly in their bodies and spirits.
