Southern Psychiatry Associates LLC is a group of physicians and therapists who want to help treat mental illness. We are aware that coming to see someone to improve your mental health can be an anxiety provoking endeavor. Often good therapists and psychiatrists are hard to find or have long wait periods before being able to see patients. Patients may worry about confidentiality. Bio

Dr. Sadler graduated from Hope College Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology and Chemistry. Next he completed a Masters Degree in Basic Medical Science at Wayne State University. He completed Chicago Medical School where he received an award of distinction for graduating first in his class. He was elected to the AOA honors society in his third year of medical school and elected as President of AOA his fourth year. His internship and residency were completed at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. During his third year of residency, he was elected to be one of four administrative residents which provided him the opportunity to work directly with the administration in the Department of Psychiatry and take a leadership role among his colleagues. He was also elected Co-chair of the residents and fellows committee of the Maryland Psychiatric Society. After residency, he spent five years working at Sheppard Pratt where he had a number of clinical responsibilities including working on Sheppard Pratt’s Dual Diagnosis inpatient unit and in the General and Dual Diagnosis Adult Day Hospital.
