Speak to Me Kids is a private pediatric speech, language and feeding therapy provider. Our services include PROMPT therapy for speech sound disorders, language therapy, social skills therapy, feeding therapy and AAC! Our caseload includes children with Apraxia, Autism, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delays, Pragmatic Language Disorders, Language Processing Disorders, etc. We are so proud of our staff and their hard efforts to help each child who comes into our practice. Our philosophy is for our clients to become the best they can be. We believe in a flexible, accommodating environment which enables our clients to achieve to the best of their ability. Each child is seen as an individual with his or her own strengths which will be utilized to improve his or her weaknesses. Our goal is always achievement beyond expectations!

We receive many phone calls which begin with "Does my child need speech therapy?" that is why we offer a free 30 minute consultation. This provides you with an opportunity to meet a licensed speech-language pathologist and have your questions answered as soon as possible.

Joyce Kaveney, M.S.,CCC-SLP & Owner

Joyce opened Speak to Me Kids in 2008. Joyce's experience includes working in specialized schools; hospital schools and schools for autism as well as in private practice since 2006. She received her Masters of Science in Speech Pathology at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, which was ranked by the US News & World Report as one of the top ranked graduate programs of its kind nationwide. Joyce's expertise includes working with children birth to 20 years old with a variety of communication disorders. Her training includes the SOS Feeding Program, PROMPT for apraxia, AAC facilitation and communication, social skills therapy both individualized and within groups, and working with children with auditory processing disorders. Joyce maintains strong relationships with a variety of other disciplines such as occupational therapists, behavioral therapists and clinical psychologists.

Jamie Herlich, M.A., CCC-SLP

Jamie Herlich joined Speak to Me Kids in 2012. She earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Maryland, a top ranked graduate program according to the US News and World Report. Jamie has worked with diverse populations including, but not limited to, autism spectrum disorder, apraxia of speech, fluency disorder, articulation disorder, phonological processing disorder, auditory processing disorder, and receptive and expressive language disorders. Her experience includes public and private school settings, outpatient rehabilitation, as well as private practice.

Abby Lambert, M.S., CCC-SLP

Abby Lambert joined Speak to Me Kids in 2014. She earned her Masters of Science in Communication Disorders at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Abby has worked with diverse populations including, but not limited to, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, apraxia of speech, fluency disorder, fragile X syndrome, articulation disorder, phonological processing disorder, auditory processing disorder, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, concussions, dysphagia/swallowing disorders, and receptive and expressive language disorders. Her experience includes public school settings, private practice, and inpatient rehabilitation, as well as outpatient rehabilitation.
