Stephenie Champlin, LCSW
Pathways to Wellness has been serving the Orange County, California, community since 1991. We specialize in adult individual, couple, and group psychotherapy and do workshops for growth-oriented individuals and for professionals in the fields of psychotherapy, counseling, personal coaching, and business and organizational consulting.
We offer individual, couple, and group counseling and are trained in a number of different modalities, Cognitive-Behavioral, Emotion-Focused, and Acceptance & Commitment therapies, Voice Dialogue, and EMDR. We work with addictions, do grief and trauma counseling, and offer pre-marital counseling, and intensive couples marathon therapy for those coming to see us from a distance. We are Certified in Gottman Couples Therapy, as an ASL (Gottman Art & Science of Love) Workshop Leader, and in EMDR.

Bio
Stephenie Champlin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from California State University, Long Beach. Her graduate thesis was entitled Moving Toward Connection: A curriculum for Female Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. She has both training and experience in individual, family, children, couples, and group counseling. She has experience working with domestic violence, the developmentally challenged, adoption, and hospice. She is Level 3 trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and a Gottman Seven Principles Program Educator and Bringing Baby Home Education. Stephenie is trained in
Voice Dialogue and the Psychology of Selves. Stephenie is a certified EMDR therapist. Her practice combines different therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to: client-centered, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), with strategies derived from a systems approach utilizing a change-oriented process within a multicultural context to help individuals and social systems achieve improved quality of life and social participation.
