Sylvia Ann Trapuzzano, LMFT
My specialty is relationship issues. We have relationships with our spouses, partners, family, work, community, and ourselves. I believe communication is the key to a successful relationship. Partners need to be able to discuss problems (communication) and figure out solutions (conflict resolution) in order to be happy.
I offer my clients traditional office sessions, certainly when weather dictates, and for those who are willing to embrace and trust the concept, I find that sessions under an open sky, with God's creations surrounding us, result in a more intimate sharing of inner feelings. And thus, you can reach faster and deeper resolutions.
Whichever method you prefer -- office, park, phone, or online services, your initial session includes a FREE, 30-minute Consultation.

Bio
With twelve years experience in the field of counseling adults, adolescents, and couples, I bring expertise in a variety of areas and truly love the work I do. And now, practicing my craft under an open sky, with nature's creations surrounding us, I have seen how much the nurturing of nature can help us to resolve the conflicts of our day-to-day lives.
We all experience times when we feel stuck, alone, overwhelmed, or at a crossroad in our lives. Even though the present is problematic, your future can still be successful. The decision to enter therapy is an investment in that future.
I work primarily with individuals, couples, and families to address the issues underlying communication differences. I assist couples with learning the art of fair fighting, reclaiming love within their marriages and when necessary I assist families who are new to co-parenting after a separation, divorce, or remarriage.
In addition, I work with couples that are planning to get married by empowering each partner with knowledge and tools for a strong relationship foundation. I also offer affairs counseling regardless of whether you are the hurt partner or the unfaithful partner. A few examples that we work on are rebuilding trust and self-esteem, talking about painful issues without you hurting each other, learning how to overcome your obsessive thoughts, and re-establishing love, intimacy, honor and respect in your marriage or relationship.
Sharing your challenges openly, with an experienced, non-judgmental professional, will make that investment pay off.
You can learn how to change your relationship, your life, your whole being into a happy and healthy person that you want to be. If you're ready to make changes in your life, then I look forward to working with you.
