Bio
My experience raising a child with a learning disability is what attracted me to the field of Educational Therapy. Through training and counseling, I have supported middle school and high school students in developing skills, building confidence and becoming empowered just like with my own child. As an Intervention Specialist with Oakland Unified School District and in independent schools, I have had 6 years experience. My work with students focuses on helping them succeed academically, building on their strengths, and developing strategies for their optimal learning.
